I teach Shakespeare and Drama in secondary school in Los Angeles. I love reading and discussing books. But I did not love reading books in school! I began to love reading when I started talking with others about what I was reading. What does this book teach me about living a good life, or a bad life? What does it teach me about other people, or myself? What does it teach me about being a leader, or having courage, or finding happiness? I want to help my students love reading too and jump into the conversation of life.
