It can also be nonphysical punishment which belittles, humiliates, threatens scares of makes fun of a child. 98% of children say they have experienced it. One out of three children say they experience it every week. So what's wrong with that? Corporal punishment does hurt! It has many consequences like physical, emotional, relational behavioral and learning difficulties.
