A daily dedicated reading space at the school (learning center) Elimu Yetu. From 4pm-5pm, students gather to read books while enjoying soda and popcorn (we've been averaging 25 to 60 students each day). Quiet reading for 45 minutes and discussion for 15 minutes. 4 days per week, students of Elimu Yetu read together for 45 minutes, then discuss for 15 minutes.

A 48 week tennis program, 1-4 hours per week for 120 students, 100% FREE! College aged students play 3 hours per week, Young kids (ages 4-6) receive 1 hour per week. Coaching, balls, court fees and equipment are all included. As a supporter, you will receive photographic and video clips every week to follow their progression from total beginner to....well, who knows how good these students will get in 1 year? UPDATE (April 2024): Elimu Yetu Tennis Club Wins at Eddie Kiddies Junior Open Tournament at Gymkhana Club!🥇🎾 The tournament included clubs from Moshi, Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, and even Kenya with categories for kids of all ages. We’re proud to announce that many of our participants performed well, reaching the quarter-finals and semi-finals. Congratulations to all, especially our champion Dennis, who took first place in Under 18 Boys! Many thanks to all the coaches, organizers and sponsors who made this possible. UPDATE (May 2024): Practice increased to 3 times a week for youth and adults, 2 times a week for children under 8.
