Reading empowers people

A daily dedicated reading space at the school (learning center) Elimu Yetu. From 4pm-5pm, students gather to read books while enjoying soda and popcorn (we've been averaging 25 to 60 students each day). Quiet reading for 45 minutes and discussion for 15 minutes. 4 days per week, students of Elimu Yetu read together for 45 minutes, then discuss for 15 minutes.
