This book is brief history of Barack Obama’s ascent into presidency of the most powerful nation in the world. It is presented in two parts. Part one covers chapter one to three, and deals with the story of the person- Barack Obama Jr.,the son of a Kenyan father and an Indonesian mother, his childhood in various countries, his youth and search for identity and academic pursuits, his entry into politics and the accompanying struggles which led him to the top seat of government of the United States of America. Part two covers chapters four to eight. It discusses the story of America, a nation of social diversity, its search for true freedom and justice, the greatest market of the world, its immigrant connections to the rest of the world and its perceptions and responses as world leader.
